ユーザごとに1つのClightインスタンスしか起動できないことに注意すること。<br><br />

Clightは、0-confソフトウェアを目指しているため、XDG自動起動デスクトップファイルを同梱している。<br><br />
これにより、XDGに準拠したDEであれば、Clightは自動的に起動される。<br><br />
もし、XDGに対応していないDEやWMを使用している場合は、Clightをスタートアップスクリプトに追加すること。<br><br />
<br><br />
画面のバックライトを高速に再調整するためのデスクトップファイルもインストールされるため、アプリケーションメニューに表示される。<br><br />
さらに、描画の一時停止と再開、自動バックライトキャリブレーションの一時停止と再開等の副次的な機能も用意されている。<br><br />

また、Clightdのsystemdユニットを有効にすることを忘れないこと。<br><br />
